Die Gitarren von Alister sind mit Künstlern wie Albert Lee, Bruce Welch, Hank Marvin, Paul McCartney u.v.a. auf Tour - er gehört schon seit geraumer Zeit zur Creme de la Creme der Gitarrenbau Szene. Die Besonderheiten der Gitarren von Alister sind vor allem die gebackenen Decken. Bei ca. 100 Grad C wird die Restfeuchtigkeit nahezu vollständig dem Holz entzogen. Das Ergebnis ist phänomenal: das Instrument schwingt und klingt von Anfang an wie eine ‚Alte’!
