This item is a wonderful item of Local interest.

It is a beautifully printed
TOWN COAT of ARMS 
on 100% woven silk.

These silks were an alternative to paper cigarette cards
and were given away in packets of cigarettes.

Due to the delicate nature of the silk and the numbers issued,
these have become very scarce and hard to come by
in a good condition.

The silk is approx 70 mm x 65mm
and in very good condition
