Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales. If you think this means we simply provide a place where children can come to die, you couldn’t be further from the truth. We offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.

We allow parents and carers to relax and recharge their batteries. And we make sure the needs of brothers and sisters are never forgotten.

what do we mean by life-limited?

We use the term life-limited to describe a child not expected to live beyond 18 years of age.

We have supported over 650 children since we opened in 1999.

We are there for families in Wales for however long they need us – at home, in hospital, at school and in our hospice.

Importantly, we’re also a family’s safe haven when their child is close to the end of life, providing expert comfort and support in their darkest hours and beyond.

Every year Tŷ Hafan has to raise £4 million to provide its free services to families in Wales.

How can I pay?

We accept payment via PayPal and ask that payments be made within 7 days on auction items.

When will my order be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days of payment being received. Working days are classed as Monday-Friday excluding public holidays. If your order is needed for a certain date, for example if it is a birthday gift, please get in contact with the online team via eBay messages or email onlinestore@tyhafan.org and we will try our very best to dispatch your order as quickly as possible (we will confirm whether this is possible via eBay message or email).

When will my order arrive?

We send orders via Royal Mail and Hermes, please check the item description for further details on which carrier has been selected. Royal Mail orders arrive within 2-3 working days and Hermes within 2 working days. Hermes deliveries are tracked as standard but should you require tracking with Royal Mail please contact us for costs.

Unfortunately there may occasionally be delivery delays out of our control due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions and industrial action. My order hasn’t arrived within the estimated time what should I do?

If you haven’t received your order within the estimated delivery time please let us know so we can look into this for you. Just send us a quick eBay message or email onlinestore@tyhafan.org

My order is wrong or incomplete what should I do?

We are so sorry if your order is incorrect or incomplete, we check all of our orders so we apologise if there has been a mix up. Please send an eBay message to the online team or email onlinestore@tyhafan.org so that we can look into this for you.

Am I able to return or exchange my order if I change my mind?

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you would like to return it. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were dispatched. Unfortunately we are unable to refund postage costs unless agreed by the online team.

We take every effort to ensure items are listed and described accurately and therefore we do not expect that items should need to be returned due to them not meeting your expectations. We do our best to describe any flaws or damage an item may have. Please consider this carefully before buying.
