Improve the tone and reliability of your Fender Hot Rod DeVille amp with a new set of high quality caps. Older Hot Rod DeVille's that are made in the USA are all getting due to have their filter caps replaced and many of the current Hot Rod DeVille amps made in Mexico are known to have leaky filter caps. This kit is for every version of the Hot Rod DeVille 2x12, 4x10, Tweed, Black, other colors, Made in USA and Made in Mexico.

Included in the kit.

1.    High quality replacement caps for the power filter and cathode bypass caps (the ones that improve your tone).

2.    Detailed instructions with photo’s for both Made in USA and Made in Mexico amps.

3.    A power resistor to drain the filter caps if needed.

2 - 100uf - 350v F&T Filter Cap

2 - 47uf – 500v F&T Filter Cap
2 - 22uf – 500v F&T Filter Cap
5 - 22uf -  35v Sprague Axial Cap

*Recently we have made the decision to switch from F&T capacitors to ARS capacitors. ARS capacitors outperform F&T capacitors with a lower ESR, a higher temperature rating of 105c and is located locally in Los Angeles, CA. Please Note: For the best improvements in the tone and reliability of your amplifier, we recommend that you purchase both the "Recap Kit" and "Complete Kit" that we offer separately (or together in the "Supreme Mod Kit"). These kits upgrade your amplifier in unique ways and none of the parts are duplicated between the "Recap Kit" and "Complete Kit." 

This Cap Kit is easy to install and requires no drilling of the chassis or circuit board.

You can also send your amp to me to have it re-capped.
