VHS and Camcorder tapes can be preserved and protected by converting them to Bluray.
Now you can view your video tapes upscaled to HD. When viewing Bluray discs on a HD television, the standard definition recordings will be upscaled to high definition resolution. This can produce a smoother looking image, with better detail and colour consistency.
Bluray don’t wear out in the same way as tapes so this is a great way to preserve your memories. Video tapes are ageing and you could lose those precious memories. Magnetic tape life is limited, after just 25 plays or 15 years the base tape shows sign of decay. It is increasingly difficult to get older video cameras repaired so you are at risk of equipment failure, where repairs could be very expensive.
I can transfer Digital8, Video 8, 8mm, Hi8, SUPER VHS, VHS, SUPER VHS-C, VHS-C, miniDV, HDV and DVCAM to Bluray. The price is for one single tape, up to 2 hours long, transferred to Bluray. One Bluray can accommodate up to 10 hours and 30 minutes of standard definition (SD) video giving the opportunity of having more that one tape transferred to each Bluray. Your Bluray can then be copied for friends or relatives, on modern PCs and laptops (with an internal or external Bluray Rewritable drive), sharing your joy with others. Discs are region free and can be played anywhere in the world. To keep prices low, artwork is not provided. I use high grade hard coat expensive Bluray discs which are scratch, smudge and dust resistant.
I can also turn your SD (Standard Definition) or HD (High Definition) photos and videos from Cameras, Camcorders, Mobile Phones, Tablets, SD Cards, Memory Cards, USBs, etc into professional-looking DVDs or Blurays for playback on your TV or computer. I can add your favourite music as background, just tell me which music/artist would you like (please see seller's other items).
I keep the digital video files on
my hard drive for 2 months so if the Bluray is damaged or lost in the post I
can easily make another copy.
Copyright on Video Tapes.
VHS transfer work is undertaken on the basis that you are the video copyright owner or that you have been given permission from the copyright owner to duplicate the tape. Commercial VHS tapes, including adult nature videos, can be copied to Bluray if you were the original purchaser of the material. Most other tapes, including school plays, christenings, holidays, wedding and party videos as a rule are not subject to copyright and as such can be copied with no problems. The contents of all your material is kept strictly confidential. At no time will any contents or material be disclosed to a third party. All video files are wiped clean from my equipment after 2 months. Tapes are destroyed and disposed of securely after 4 weeks.

Free Postage is for the return of a Bluray only. Having a great sentimental value I suggest sending your tapes by Recorded/Special Delivery as I can't be held responsible for packages lost or damaged in the post.
