For sale is a beautiful, 2008 Gibson Thunderbird IV in vintage sunburst. This bass features a solid mahogany body, laminated mahogany/walnut neck with a comfortable 34" scale length, Grover tuners and a set of great sounding TB+ humbuckers. It's in well-used condition with plenty of player wear throughout. There is a large, but shallow, dent on the front of the body (picture 5), lacquer wear and buckle rash on the back, a deeper dent on the back of the neck (picture 10) and various other dings and scratches. There's what I believe is a lacquer crack on the side of the neck at the headstock (picture 11); it feels rock solid and is on one side only, hence why I do not believe there is a break. All electronics and hardware function great and fret wear is a non-factor. Ships in a partially broken (wood panel is cracked apart) original Gibson case with a missing latch, which should still help protect the guitar during shipping.
