Argus Geiss lens onto Sony E mount adapter.
This adapter lets you mount Argus C4 Geiss modified lens onto E cameras.
C4 modified lenses are modified Lithagon lenses. These are not typical bayonet mounts. You see a thin black petal plate inside the lens with one of them slit. The slit part goes to small (tiny) head on the adapter. You need to place it in and it will not move once it is latched to the bolt head.
You need to turn the green ring until it is locked. This green ring goes behind the black petals and holds them. This is not a perfect mechanism as these are modified lenses from existing fixed model camera. If you can tighten the green ring, lens stays in place.
This adapter has close focus adjustment. Unlock the attached screw and you can make perfect infinity for your lens and lock the screw again.
You can also make it close focus lens by turning it further. (please refer to the above photo).
However please do practice locking the lens first.
