Hard cover edition of the Cat in the Hat. Copyright states 1957, no other dates. No dust jacket.         I believe that this is a first edition but am not positive so please look carefully at the photos.

 Name is written in pencil in small letters inside front end page. Significant wear on cover , spine and back. Chipping along edges.  Faint fingerprints on a few pages.  

61 pages total. Front end page through to page 25 have child's writings (letter or words).  Four small edge tears. Please see photos for condition.
