A Very Nice  & Scarce Victorian Blue Pressed Glass Container moulded in the shape of a Drum with a Soldier's Hat Finial on it's Lid. It is without a maker's mark but is thought to have been made by one of the North East Glass Factories.

It displays very well and is offered in very good overall condition with just the normal manufacturing blemishes here and there , viz. moulding lines, air bubbles and a few minor edge nibbles and the lid has had a entry point made for a spoon to sit which has caused  slight chipping to the inner rim but nothing really detrimental to it's display qualities ( please refer to all of the pictures for details ).

It is approximately 11cms high with a diameter of  8 1/2cms and it weighs 424 grams.
