Our Nation's Forgotten Heroes - The Korean War is often referred to as the "Forgotten War". It happened in a far away place soon after the massive upheavals of World War II. With this story and series of vehicles it was time to remember the men and women who went off to that war, did their jobs quietly, survived, and returned home. It is not meant to glorify one person or in any way diminish the contributions of thousands of others who served in Korea, some making the ultimate sacrifice, each with their own stories as "Forgotten Heroes".
This model comes with a numbered Limited Edition Certificate, a Corgi Forgotten Heroes - Korea War Series 1 Booklet, and a mini catalog of Corgi 2002 Edition. The limited number might be different from the one shown on the picture. This model has never been out of the box except for taking the pictures.
