(4) RARE vintage THOMAS Rosenthal TC100 WHITE DINNER PLATES Bauhaus GERMANY

**NOTE: in this last set of (4) plates available one has a wider rim and the other 3 have a narrower rim. A buyer who bought the first set of plates is exchanging one narrow rim for the wider rim plate in this lot which matches his other plates. So I have an extended 10 day handling time right now as I await the return of the plate to make the exchange. So the buyer of this lot will actually receive 4 narrow rim plates when all is said and done.**

Fresh from a mid-century estate in the northwest Boston suburbs I obtained a great set of rare THOMAS GERMANY TC100 dinnerware - see my other listings for more pieces - will combine shipping when safe and practical!

It would not be wrong to think these dishes are just another industrial heavy-duty hotel-ware....and they are. However, when this design was introduced in 1959, the Museum of Modern Art in New York immediately purchased the set for their collection as a hallmark of modern design.

Happy to offer this rare set of vintage Bauhaus style Thomas Germany TC100 Stacking Tableware. Designed by Hans Nick Roericht (Ulm School of Design)

From the makers mark these were made between 1959 - 1977; I believe production was halted in 2006.

This listing is for:

• (4) Dinner plates. The 3 narrow rimmed are about 10-1/8" diameter. The one wider ride is about 10"

• very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. These were frequently used and show lots of utensil marks particularly visible in the right light but also some darker marks as well. If you use these frequently they should work well with your existing service.

• each set of 4 Will weigh about 8 lbs packed safely.

Will combine shipping for multiple purchases when safe and practical. Local pickup also available in the Boston area to safe on shipping.
