. These limited-edition bluchers, an exclusive collaboration designed with J.Crew, are made with navy Chromexcel leather from Chicago's renowned Horween Leathers. Finished with a crepe sole and shaped on Alden's famous Barrie last, they're as comfortable as they are handsome.
- These shoes were shaped over a Barrie last and run one half size larger than regular US sizes.

Please note that due to the dye process some of the dye has rubbed onto the leather and the shoe laces (see photos below). This is not a defect it is just naturally what happens with hand dyed items. My husband originally purchased these for himself, however he has a wide foot and decided to get a different size.
Also there are some scuff marks on these shoes, I have tried to do a closeup below of the most noticeable ones. These were a floor model.
The Alden brand started in 1884 and they are the oldest original shoe/boot maker remaining in New England.
For work or relaxing, these are a great addition to any guy's shoe selection!

Shipping
We ship within two business days following payment. We gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases. Tracking information is sent in an email immediately following shipment. We employ a full time shipping supervisor and use new materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper, peanuts). This, along with the cost of postage, is factored into the shipping price rather than the purchase price. We ship from Virginia, and the postage cost of packages are determined by weight, distance and box size. USPS and UPS determine these rates.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
   
Returns
QUICK EXCHANGE: If you need a quick exchange, please bid/win/pay for the item you wish for an exchange and return the original item to us within the return time period along with the item return form and we will waive the restocking fee. (Items returned through eBay's "return link" are not eligible for an exchange but a refund only.) The second purchase should be of equal or greater value. Items returned that are a higher price than the 2nd item (quick exchange) purchased, will incur a restocking fee only for the difference in the price points.
RETURNS: An item must be shipped within the return time frame noted on ebay. Upon receipt of the item and confirmation of its condition, we will issue a one time exchange or a purchase price refund minus a 10% restocking fee, based on the buyer's choice. The cost of postage in each direction is the buyer’s responsibility. The restocking fee covers our shipper's time in opening the return, communicating with the buyer, connecting with ebay to complete all the proper forms, reviewing the item, refunding through paypal, rebagging and barcoding the item then transporting it to our warehouse for relisting.
If an exchange is requested with the returned item, and the requested item is in stock and is the same style just a different color or size, we will exchange it and offer free domestic postage if the original winning bid was $85 or more. We will send an invoice for the new postage if an exchange is requested for a winning bid of less than $85. EBay does not allow us to hold items. Any exchange completed along with a return, with free domestic postage, is a one time offering and results in a final sale and is not eligible for return.
We process returns 5 business days after receipt. When we process your return, we will contact you with the confirmation information and we will cancel the transaction on eBay. Due to time limitations and staff responsibilities, we are only able to message a buyer confirming their item has been received on the day we are processing their return.
