Please study picture - the car is new, but it is very old 

It is a very old  made model. 

It is New Boxed . Never have been out of the box except for photos
There is no Matchbox logo on the box, but the die-cast model is  Matchbox
The model has a MATCHBOX logo on the bottom.   See pictures.
The model is BRAND NEW, but the quality is not that good as our days die-cast models However it is still very good model!
I think the packaging is made a little bit later. The box look new, but it is not competitive with this days packaging design and quality. The die-cast is made 38 years ago and then later repackaged to have a better look.
It is very rarely to find a brand new ( in a Box) Bulgarian made GAMA, MATCHBOX and Schuco
