Installation is not something you want to do yourself unless you are experienced. I recommend a custom auto body shop do the install with experience dealing with aftermarket composite auto body parts.

This hood weighs roughly 17 lbs and 5 oz. I don't know much about this hood but it is very light weight and it looks like it is hand made. I am told the mold this hood was made from was made off of an OEM Honda Civic EG 4 door hood... brand new from the dealer. This is a very nice hood.
