This is an opportunity to upgrade your Playmates TNG Science tricorder prop with state of the art electronics. If you own one of these Playmates TNG Tricorder toys than you have probably been wondering what it would be like to have the same lights and sounds as the real tricorder used in the show. Well, here is your chance to upgrade your tricorder with a full set of working electronics. It will turn your mediocre 3 LED tricorder toy into a more believable 24th century tricorder prop!
It would be like owning a piece of the 24th century. This electronics upgrade kit was specifically designed to enhance and upgrade the tricorder toy that Playmates released in the 90's. It adds authentic sounds and lights to your tricorder and it will act and feel like one of the props used on the show. The 40+ LEDs are identical to those used on the real hero prop seen in many of the TNG era episodes. You only need one of the Playmates tricorder toys to get started (which are usually available in other auctions here). An instruction manual which will be emailed to you will show you how to modify the Playmates tricorder body to allow you to install the new electronics. Everything is designed to be simple to install. I have designed the tricorder electronics to run and sound just like the real thing. Each board can be powered independently from the others; there is no special wiring arrangement and the only soldering to be done is connecting the battery system (included). When you receive your electronics they will be fully assembled and ready to install.

Also Note: These types of electronic circuit sets are built as they are ordered. I do not have a bunch of these pre-built sitting on a shelf waiting to be shipped the moment an order comes in. I cannot afford to do it that way. Please allow a few extra days for assembly and testing of these circuits. These circuits are not available ANYWHERE else.
