The set includes a wonderful antique German paper lithograph EASTER EGG measuring 6 1/2" long and 4" wide, a charming little antique German 4 1/2" all bisque KESTNER DOLL, and 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" wide antique yellow cotton batting baby chick, also most likely of German origin! The egg has a vibrant GOLD PAPER exterior with a variety of lovely Easter flowers in beautiful rich colors on both the top and bottom pieces, and the interior has a red and white floral papered design with vintage green faux grass!
The egg houses the tiny yellow antique cotton batting baby chick and all bisque Kestner doll, which has a newer but well done long blonde mohair wig, INTAGLIO BLUE painted eyes, and original ALL BISQUE body jointed at the upper arms and legs! She is wearing a cream cotton long sleeved dress with sweet little blue cotton pinafore and has painted on ribbed stockings with black Mary Jane style shoes! Her bisque appears PERFECT, with no cracks, chips or restoration, and the back of her head is faintly incised with a number that we cannot completely discern but attribute her mold to the Kestner factory!
