Vintage Fender Twin Reverb, Pro Reverb, Super Reverb or Bandmaster Reverb Recap Kit
This Recap Kit includes a full set of high quality electrolytic capacitors to be installed in your 1960’s – 1970’s vintage Fender Twin Reverb, Pro Reverb, Super Reverb or Bandmaster Reverb amplifier. The function of the filter capacitors is to reduce the noise and hum of the high voltage power supply in the circuit of your amplifier. Capacitors in the cathode bypass maintain and control frequency response in the pre-amp stage and effect tonal qualities within your pre-amp tubes. The capacitor in the bias circuit helps to regulate and maintain proper bias between your power tubes. Over time the capacitors in your amplifier will degrade, causing issues with noise, hum and frequency response in your output.
Your vintage amplifier will benefit greatly by replacing your old capacitors with new, high quality capacitors.
Replacing your capacitors can reduce hum and noise in your vintage amplifier as well as revive tone and keep your frequency response alive.

3 x F&T 22uf / 500v Electrolytic Capacitors
2 x F&T 100uf / 450v Electrolytic Capacitors
1 x F&T 100uf / 100v Electrolytic Capacitors
7 x Sprague Atom 25uf / 25v Electrolytic Capacitors
1 x 5w Resistor to safely drain your existing capacitors
All you need is basic soldering skills to perform the installation.

The included F&T capacitors are the highest quality available on the market. German based Fischer & Tausche have been producing high quality capacitors for over 70 years. F&T capacitors are known for their great tone and reliability. We use these F&T capacitors in all our custom amp builds and in replacement of all stock amplifier capacitors.
Sprague Atom capacitors are
top of the line capacitors made in the USA known for their vintage quality.
These capacitors placed throughout the cathode bypass will restore tone in your
pre-amp and help the tonal characteristics of your pre-amp tubes shine through
once again. Replacing the bias capacitor will help better regulate the bias of
your power tubes and assure they maintain proper bias.

ARS capacitors outperform F&T capacitors with a lower ESR, a higher temperature rating of 105c and is located locally in Los Angeles, CA.
