 Although the history of aviation is much more than war machines, the development of aviation was unquestionably stimulated by conflict. The aeroplane became the most important military weapon during the horrors of the Great War and as these early airmen struggled to gain air superiority, the celebrity of the fighter pilot was born. The exploits of military airmen and their enigmatic aeroplanes continue to captivate millions of enthusiasts to this day.  This vintage Airfix kit has been examined, its contents photographed and provided here, and can be yours with the winning bid.  Due to the nature of the age of these kits, where kit parts were not bagged I have photographed them displayed out to examine - if they were bagged I've photographed them in the bag as closely as possible to afford some examination.  I cannot guarantee the completeness of these kits, but all appear to have sufficient parts to build a credible rendition of the aircraft described.  Please check the photos provided, and let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for stopping by!
