The 7th in the series is this beautiful two tone, Red and Grey convertible with a dark red boot. As some know I have been converting 1/18 scale diecast cars into convertibles since 2000 and I am not Backyard Conversions or the new BYC,  but the other guy who has done over 500 convertibles for customers all over the world, been featured in Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines and recently featured on the TV show Graveyard Carz.

This starts as a NIB car that has been disassembled and cut into a convertible. Then the windshield frame is chrome foiled to match the rest of the trim. The windshield is reworked to allow for re attaching the original sun visors. Please note that in order to create a correct window frame the visors are permanently mounted and not movable. These are very hard to convert, probably the hardest I have done but to provide a more accurate look it needs to be done this way.

 The boot is created by me for this car only, molded, resin cast and then painted as shown. Each boot is textured and painted on snaps.

Once re assembled all functions and features work as new. Opening hood, doors trunk, fuel filler door, glove box, movable seat, working suspension, turning and poseable tires.

Each of the 6  to be released come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, YCID license plates and comes in the new original ACME clamshell display box.

I build these as they are sold so shipping time is 2-3 days after purchase, if purchasing on a Thursday/Friday car will not ship until the next Monday. Saturday and Sunday purchases ship on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Shipping is FREE, Fed Ex or UPS  insured ground anywhere in the upper 48 US or globally.

All sales are final unless diecast car is damaged in shipping. If there are issues upon arrival I do not discount or refund monies but will issue a full refund once the diecast car is returned to me at your cost in the same condition as described.
