ISOBRITE:
The watch’s dial features bright green and orange markers containing tritium—an isotope of hydrogen that glows in the dark. This is accomplished with hermetically sealed tritium-filled vials on the dials and hands. The vials are coated with a thin layer of phosphorescent material (zinc sulfide). The electrons of the tritium continuously react with the phosphorescent material, which in turn converts electrical energy into light that allows the user to easily tell the time at a glance, even in the darkest lighting conditions. To ensure maximum ease of use in all lighting conditions, all Isobrite watches incorporate the next generation of tritium illumination: ultra bright T100 from the world’s leading manufacturer, Switzerland’s mb-microtec. The T100 designation refers to the amount of tritium gas hermetically sealed in the glass tubes in the watch. T100 means there is up to 100mCi (millicuries) of tritium gas. Since T100 watches hold more tritium gas than T25 watches do, the more gas results in more electrical energy being created. More electrical energy in turn equals brighter illumination. This safe and reliable technology results in the watch being constantly illuminated for more than 20 years.
200-Meter Water Resistance – 650 FEET, 10-Year Lithium Battery
Water resistant up to 200 meters (650 FEET), the Eclipse is scuba approved and ready for any type of weather. For accuracy, the watch is equipped with Swiss Ronda 715Li quartz movement, plus a 10-year lithium battery for longevity. A unidirectional bezel helps keep track of elapsed time, while a display between 4 and 5 o’clock tracks the date. Also included in the set are three separate wristbands, a 35-millimeter keychain compass, and a zippered travel case for storage.
