Rare 1978 Gale Sayers Football Board Game. Game was created by Don Kingston, with assistance from his son Kevin who perished in the fatal 1977 Evansville Basketball Team plane crash. Game is copyrighted by Gale Sayers Sports Enterprise. Box measures approximately 18"X15". Box shows wear, corners split, previously taped, wrinkles and some paper loss. Game has been played, everything you need to play appears to be there, including 52 card set. Penciling on 1 of the 2 play sheets. I have only seen one other game like this in over 20 years of collecting. Extremely limited. Most likely a limited regional release. Again, game shows use but all pieces are working. I have recently been informed by a fellow Ebayer with first hand knowledge that there were 20 or less of these produced. You will most likely not see another one for sale.
