This listing is for an Old Vintage Canadian / American Brilliant Period Cut Glass 10" Tall vase by Gundy Clapperton of Toronto, Canada. It is Signed "BIRKS" (Distributor) in a Diamond and has the "GCCo" Shamrock below (photo 3). It has very well done cutting with 8 Cut Panels or Flutes around body, Detailed Engraved Clover Leaves and Berries around top above a Band of Beading, Notched Rim, and 24 Point Rayed Base.
It is in very good condition overall with no cracks. There are some larger flakes / shallow chips around base edge, couple tiny nicks to outer rim, and some larger scratches inside and out (photos 8-12), are the worst. Couple other small nicks here and there. Still a pretty Rare and High Quality piece of Cut Glass. Looks clean and crystal clear inside! Very clean and crystal clear inside and out! It is pretty big, thick, and heavy weighing almost 3 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed.
It measures 10" tall, 4" across top rim, and 3 5/8" at the base.
