Resulting amplifiers have scaleable output power, and can deliver over 300W per channel, single-ended, into 8 ohms with 10%25 supply rail headroom and 20%25 rail regulation at +/- 100V rails.

Needs to withstand the output power transistors' supply voltage.
This is the ideal way to implement an integrated power amp: all the complexity of the front end differential stages, voltage gain stages, and level shifting in an IC, leaving the power output devices external, for scaleability and thermal flexibility.

Output transistors can be Darlingtons, or Darlingtons implemented with discretes (discrete devices connected in Darlington configuration).
