The bass has 30" scale (shorter than regular 34" found on most electric basses) electro acoustic bass from Woodstock (model WH-BASS-EQ-203).

The overall body size is more manageable than most larger acoustic basses, the measurements are: BODY LENGTH 52CM, WIDTH AT WIDEST 40CM, DEPTH 10CM-12CM

On board preamp has simple controls VOLUME, BASS, MIDDLE , TREBLE, PRESENCE, powered by readily available 9 volt battery (smoke alarm type) allowing for powerful and versatil tonal shaping when plugged in to an amp or PA. 

The body has no cutaway so has a full acoustic sound so great for just playing at home or with other acoustic musicians, and the short scale makes it very comfortable to play as frets are closer together and string tension is less. ........not "better" just a nice feel especially if you have battled with typically enormous acoustic basses before!!

Fitted with 2 strap buttons, and nickel strings.
