Up for your consideration is a VERY nice Nikon 50mm f/1.8 Series E Manual Focus Prime lens. Often referred to as “PANCAKE” lens.
Cosmetically, in good condition. It is a used ­­­­lens so you see some surface blemishes , there are no major dings or dents.

The important part: Glass is clean and clear with no fungus, haze, separation or cleaning marks. No internal dust that's worth mentioning.
Mechanically it is in 100% working condition; everything work’s, as it should. Focus is smooth and tight.
F-stop clicks are precise and definite; the iris blades free of oil, are crisp and move freely.
Comes with front, rear lens caps and a 52mm skylight filter.

It will work well in manual or aperture mode on Nikon digital cameras such as the D200, D300, D, D2, D3 etc, etc..; digital (full frame FX), DX coverage and 35mm film coverage. Of course with digital use manual mode or aperture priority mode and manual focus only. They mount, but do not meter on the D40 through D100 or the D3000 series or the D5000 series. Use a separate meter or estimate exposure for those. It will also work on mirrorless cameras like the Sony A7, A6300, OM-D EM5 Panasonic GX7 etc. with the correct adapter.

Because of it’s high resolution and contrast, some of these older Nikon prime lenses have been rediscovered and are coming back in demand largely due to the popularity of the digital SLR’s. Digital photographers are now searching for the finest optics to complement their DSLR’s, and forgoing some "convenience". It’s a real treat using these older lenses on the modern digital cameras!
