Late 19th Century Candle lanterns. these are in need of a little restoration but great overall for their age. they have etched glass on the edges of the glass is kind of like beveled kind of I guess. They are brass or copper very thin brass or copper they were for candles and the doors work on them still the back doors and the little lock lashes air about 2 feet tall and come out about a foot out from the wall while on their bracket someone has fabricated brackets for them to attach to house overall in great shape for their age there is a date on them patented November 1867 or 87 really can't tell I think it's 67 (see pictures) bottom is coming apart slightly (see pictures), on one of them, both have one open piece where glass would go I'm assuming. One Lantern has a cracked piece of glass and one glass has a small Corner crack. They are beat up from age and use could using cleaning as well probably polishing but would look beautiful they are very nice but like I said they need restoration overall very nice Old Carriage lanterns please see pictures for further details sold as is as found thank you Sold as is as found please see pictures for complete details
