With the firmware upgraded to a 5,1 ‘Westmere’ 6-Core Xeon W5690 chip upgrade allows for faster 1333MHz RAM, this machine now is not only much faster but has a much longer compatibility span with Mac OS system upgrades down the line. The W5690 chip also will increase the maximum RAM up to 64 GBs. This machine has 3x 16GB Quality RAM for 48 GB with one extra ram slot.

EXPANSION

Expansion includes two external 5.25" "optical" bays (one free by default), four internal 3.5" "cable-free, direct attach" hard drive bays (2 free by default), and four PCIe 2.0 slots (one free PCIe 2.0 x16 slot and two free PCIe 2.0 x4 slots with the default single graphics card installed).

Ports include five USB 2.0 ports, four Firewire "800" ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two Mini DisplayPorts and a dual-link DVI port, among others.

CONDITION
