Like many who have passed through to the doors of Parsons School of Design in New York City, Mara Hoffman's recognisable aesthetic - driven by a love for rich colour and ornate pattern - has earnt the designer something of a cult following. Set to be a firm favourite with the modern bohemians, these high-waisted bikini bottoms are defined by prismatic stripes in crochet. Lace-up ties run the length of either side; baring a little skin in the summer sun.
