Jeremy will travel the globe and risk life and limb on his journey to uncover the truth about the dark secrets of our planet's rivers. This 7-part series features mysterious predators with the potential to kill include the Giant Snakehead, Goliath Tigerfish, Stingray, Congo Catfish, Nile Perch, Sturgeon and the Zambezi Shark.

SEASON 3:

In Series 3 extreme angler and biologist Jeremy Wade is back on the trail of the creatures behind fearsome freshwater horror stories around the globe, encountering some of his weirdest mysteries and most memorable monsters to date. Jeremy investigates tales of frighteningly large and dangerous river monsters that have attacked and even killed humans, including a monster responsible for devouring certain male body parts and packs of eels that will rip the flesh from unfortunate swimmers. Jeremy's search for the truth takes him on a dark and dangerous journey across the globe.

SEASON 4:

Join Jeremy Wade in Series 4 as he unravels freshwater fish tales of giant killers where sometimes the fact really is stranger than the fiction! These voyages have taken him across the globe to waterways far and wide, all on an endless search for man-eating creatures that lurk below. Beginning in Americas own backyard to remote and populated locales worldwide, Wade is on a worldwide search for harrowing tales of bloodthirsty fish.

SEASON 5:

For four successful seasons, extreme angler Jeremy Wade has taken viewers along as he unravels freshwater fish tales of giant killers, where sometimes fact really is stranger than fiction! RIVER MONSTERS returns for a fifth season, following Wade on a worldwide search for harrowing stories of bloodthirsty fish. A fearless explorer, he aims to hook the finned culprits that are thought to attack humans and reveal how much truth lies in the legends. This season takes him inside the jungles of Nicaragua, the fjords of Norway and even the nuclear wasteland of Chernobyl.

SEASON 6:

This season is one of Jeremy Wade's most challenging as he travels to remote locations to solve mysteries so bizarre that he must dedicate an entire year in South America. From the politically charged intersection of Brazil, Colombia and Peru, to the secluded home of a rainforest tribe, he crisscrosses the continent to tackle each incident and reel in each dangerous catch.

SEASON  7:

Season seven is full of unexplored realms for Wade - both emotional and physical. In the season premiere, Canadian Horror, he seeks to find the reason why boaters and fisherman are vanishing into thin air. The accused beast is described as a giant eel-like serpent and a fruitless search for this elusive predator sends Jeremy close to the edge. After nearly 13,000 casts, his determination borders on obsession as he waits for just one fated bite. Multiple setbacks and volatile weather have Jeremy looking to native spirits for a boost in confidence.
