I'm clearing out the last bit of my Taiwan release Super Famicom games. I used to collect these as found them quite interesting as they are essentially just repros, but the actual effort that went into making them at that time is quite impressive. I'd planned on making a Youtube video covering some of the interesting aspects of what makes these unique but have been far too busy. The quality varies from each one but the majority of them were done exceptionally well, considering it was a time when few people used Photoshop or similar programs. Some of them like Demon's Blazon were done so well, it's easy to mistake it for a genuine version without taking a pretty close look. These games weren't mass produced and were more so that people in Taiwan would have access to titles that weren't officially distributed. Price wise they would sell for around the same as the Japanese versions too and again were more a means of access than trying to make a buck. Check my other listings for other titles, they're all from around the mid to late 90's. I had nearly a hundred at one point but a collector from Japan bought up most of them and I've only be slowly adding to it again since.
This one is interesting for it's artwork and lack of any text, literally just games name and photos and a made-up UPC code for the back.
Up for auction is a boxed "Super Probotector Alien Rebels" cartridge for the Super Famicom system. This is an unbranded/generic version of the game made in Taiwan in the 1990s.
The box is a bit beat up, but overall still in good condition, the cartridge is in good condition too (see photos for more detail about condition). The game is tested and working.
Combined shipping discount for any other boxed Taiwan SFC games shipped with this will be $3 more per game.
