What is Alpha Arbutin?

Alpha-Arbutin is a new type of hydroquinone glucoside with an alpha-glucosyl bond.

Arbutin is the active substance originated from natural plant which can whiten and lighten skin. Arbutin can infiltrate into the skin quickly without affecting the concentration of cell multiplication and effectively prevent activity of tyrosinase in the skin and the forming of melanin.

What is Alpha Arbutin for?

A Arbutin is used primarily in skin treatments typically for hyperpigmentation melasma, freckles and any other situation where effective skin lightening is wanted

How is it used

Alpha arbutin is used at a concentration of 0.2 – 2% in a weight/ weight ration. As it is water soluble it goes in to the water phase of your formula.

Alpha arbutin can be stirred into an existing lotion to make an effective DIY lotion at home!

Please note that skin lightening treatment is a commitment that takes 2-3 months to start seeing full results. It doesn’t happen instantly.
