Wonderful Monitors. One of my favorite speakers I've ever used. Exceptional clarity and flat response. More minty pairs have sold here on eBay for upwards of 250$. This pair is in great shape but not mint. One has a cosmetic scuff on the woofer near the dustcap, repaired with a thin coat of superglue to keep it from delaminating. Repair has held for years with no effect on the sound whatsoever. In very good shape otherwise, tweeters are in excellent condition and woofer surrounds have no issues. Cabinets are in very good shape. Great addition to a home or professional studio. These will sing with even a modest amplifier.

The 1" titanium WideBand high-frequency unit is seamlessly matched to a
6.5" long throw, low distortion bass unit by a precision low-loss
crossover network. Distortion has been reduced by introducing flux
control rings and copper caps into the magnet system to make the voice
coil inductance linear as it moves in and out of the magnetic air
gap--otherwise a source of nasty third harmonic distortion. WideBand
technology extends the high frequency response to 35kHz and
beyond--although frequencies higher than 20kHz are inaudible in all but a
few human beings--to correct the phase response within the audible band
up to 20kHz. Both drive units are mounted on a massive 40mm thick
baffle, curved to minimize diffraction and creating the loudspeaker's
distinctive styling. The drive units are magnetically shielded to reduce
stray magnetic fields and allow the system to be used close to video
monitors.
