Original vintage 1920s black lace dress, art deco flapper













Description


An original 1920s black lace dress. In good, wearable condition with some small repairs in the skirt (not really noticeable unless you are looking for them). I'd say this was home-made & it evidently needs a slip as it's quite sheer. The sides of the skirt are open up to around hip level so the slip would show at the sides. It has draped panels & is quite asymmetrical. 
It measures 44" around the chest & the same at the waist because it is quite straight. The length is approx. 50" from shoulder to hem. It should fit a range of sizes due to the loose, draped construction.
A lovely dress, typical of the art deco period. It would work either as day wear or could be 'dressed up' for evening, depending on how it's accessorised.

PAYMENT TIMES: Due to a number of unpaid items, I am now requiring Paypal payment at the time of ordering on Buy it Now items. If you need to make other arrangements, please get in touch & I can alter the listing requirements. I will still require payment within 5 days at most.

For auction items, please pay within 5 days. A reminder email will be sent after 3 days but on the fifth day I will file a non paying bidder report so I can reclaim my ebay fees.

If you purchase something by mistake or cannot complete for some other reason, please do have the good manners to tell me so that I can cancel the transaction. That way I can reclaim my fees & you will not get a non-paying bidder report.
