The Amp One is robust, and is built to last. It requires no adjustments as the tubes are auto-biasing. The unit can drive most speakers rated at 90 db SPL or higher. And, it doubles as an excellent headphone amplifier, as the signal is stepped down directly from the output transformers. 

With only two gain stages, minimum negative feedback, and no third order harmonic distortion, this 5 watt per channel amp provides the high resolution and non-fatiguing sound that quality single ended amplifiers are famous for. It is a perfect example of the "first watt" concept, where the quality of sound reproduction is more important than the number of watts that are produced.
