This auction is for a gorgeous Arsat B 250mm f3.5 manual prime lens, made in the Ukraine with MULTIPLE UPGRADES:

• Cinevate Follow Focus Gear Ring -- bought brand-new for $39.98

• Aperture DE-CLICKED (this means there are no hard-stops, so racking aperture is possible in a shot, as well as splitting between f-Stops) Duclos charges $60 for this service!

• Rear PL Mount Lens cap purchased for $30

• That's a TOTAL OF $129.98 in upgrades (Not to mention months spent getting the work completed!)

This includes front & rear caps, and a built-in lens hood.

This lens was purchased, advertised as "new old stock" and it got very light use, but powered us through 2 independent feature films! Both are in post-production, so unfortunately I can't share specific footage from this lens, but if you search for #FireTrialFilms you can see some of our other lens tests. The glass is in great shape, with only minor dust and a few tiny dots on the coating that don't effect the image. Now that we have wrapped production, I need to recoup some costs so I've got to let this lens go!

Includes original lens instructions. Original Cinevate box, instructions & spare parts, for adapting to other size lenses! I used a "LanParte 0.8 Module Flexible Follow Focus Gear *Micro Adjustable*" to further stabilize under the Cinevate gear ring, and I'm including the parts in case you ever want to use that on another lens -- another $25.73 bonus!

USA SELLER -- No wait for customs clearance & international shipping!

The minimum focus on this lens is 3.5 Meters -- so when we needed to shoot a closer subject, we got around this limitation by using an inexpensive macro extension tube, which goes from PL mount to PL mount, with no glass or optics inside. That adapter basically reduces the aperture by one F-Stop, but pulls the focus in dramatically closer to the lens. These are available for sale on eBay for $90, and are an incredibly useful tool (especially on an indie film budget). Here is an example we shot using this method on a Ukrainian 150mm lens, with the Red Epic:

I have read that this line of lenses covers up to 6K -- though I do not have the gear to try that. This lens got us through 2 years of shooting, and we made enough money to upgrade to Zeiss!
