Just recently replaced the stock RCA driver tubes with Tung-Sol 7236s. Very happy with results so far, the sound seems much more engaging and intricate details in various songs are heightened.
Ok, where is everyone getting these? I searched all over the hundreds of links posted on this forum for tube sites. I can't find these tubes anywhere and you guys are getting them left and right and everyone says "can be very easily located on-line". I even searched ebay for 7236 and I get nothing back even for completed auctions. Am I supposed to be searching for something else? I want to order a WA3, but I want to make sure I can get this tube first.
Ok, random tube info request...I have the Tung-Sol 7236 in my Woo 3+, and am more than happy with it, but I know that just like a favorite pet it's eventually going to die on me and I'll want a new one.
