• Please note that you will require some additional tools including; An Allen key for brake lever adjustment and safety glasses.

Why choose our kits

We have put the time into designing and producing our own bleed kits and adapters. We do not use 'generic' hose type adapters that 'only just fit', unlike some other kits available on eBay. These types of kits use cheaper components that not only cause dripping and leaks during the bleed process, but can also damage the thread within your bleed ports! We have our adapters machine cut for a perfect fit. Remember, if you are not 100% happy with the kit once received you can return it for a refund (please ensure the kit has not been opened/used).

UK postage options

We will always try to send out your kit the same day that it is ordered providing it is received before 2pm (Mon to Fri).

1. 1) Royal Mail 1st Class - FREE

   Standard Postage & Packaging is free of charge on this kit. Royal Mail states 1-3 working days delivery.

2. 2) Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded

   An optional extra for an additional small charge your order will require to be signed for and have a tracking number.  Royal Mail states 1-3 working days delivery.

3. 3) Royal Mail Next Working Day

   An optional extra for urgent orders.  Your order will be guaranteed next working day before 1pm, have full tracking, and require to be signed for on delivery.  Orders must be received and paid for before 2pm Monday to Thursday ONLY for this option. Orders after 2pm Thursday may not arrive until Monday.

4. UK delivery times

   All order are posted within 24 hours of ordering, and usually posted the same day if ordered before 2pm, or the following day if after 2pm (both excluding weekends) or 10am Fridays.  Delivery should be pretty quick, they usually arrive next working day, however this isn't guaranteed by Royal Mail and they could take longer to arrive.  Please allow at least 4 working days before contacting us regarding regular 1st class posted orders.

International shipping

Due to many international orders going missing in the post, we now send ALL international orders via international tracked post only.

1. Royal Mail International

   Royal Mail International Tracked postage is used for all EU and international orders. Tracking information will be provided once the item has been shipped.

2. International delivery times

   International shipping can take from 2  to 14+ days days to arrive, depending on your country and it's internal postal service.  Please allow extra time for delivery if you are outside of the UK, but we can guarantee your kit will be posted within 1 working day. Please track your item with the tracking info provided.

Important postage information

Please read the following information before placing an order with us to avoid any problems.

1. Your address

   Please ensure that your delivery address is 100% correct and in full.  We receive a surprising amount of orders with incomplete or incorrect addresses.  If your item does not arrive due to an incorrect address, then we do not provide a replacement or refund.  Thank you.

2. Postal box / Packstation

   Please do not use a 'Postal Box' or 'Packstation' address, as orders to these addresses are not being delivered.  This is especially important if you are outside of the UK, such as Germany.

3. Item not arrived?

   Please allow up to 4 working days for standard UK orders to arrive.  If nothing has arrived after this time please check 1) with a neighbour 2) in your safe place 3) at the local Post Depot. Please allow 2 weeks for all international orders to arrive.

Do I need a bleed block?

The short answer is no. A bleed block is often recommended to bleed your brakes, however it is not required and it is possible to either:

• 1) Bleed the system with the brakes left in situe on the bike.  This is the quickest and easiest option.  We usually bleed this way.
• 2) Make a bleed block - You just need a piece of wood, or some store cards cut in half and stacked together in order to fit between the pistons.  Please note that a bleed block is NOT included with this kit.

DOT 4 or DOT 5.1?

We get a lot of questions regarding which oil type to use, so let me explain the differences between the two to help you decide.

Your brakes will usually come with DOT 4 as standard, and the brakes and manual will usually recommend to only use DOT 4.  However, DOT 5.1 is fully compatible with brakes that use DOT 4 oil  The main difference between the two is that DOT 5.1 is a higher performing oil which has a higher boiling point and will perform better under heavy braking.

Returns

If for some reason you are not happy with your bleed kit then we will accept returns within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. We do not refund any postage costs, or pay for return postage. Kits must be returned unopened, unused and in the same condition they arrived to qualify for a refund.
