Most PIONEER M22 / M25 amplifiers are now over 30 years old. They are ranked as one of the Worlds best Class-A Audio Amplifiers in the 10 to 30 W class. Their soundstage is a true High-End Audio reference. This restoration will make your Amplifier sound just like new or perhaps even better than new as the components we use are of much better quality than those available back in 1976. In the past we have successfully restored Pioneer SPEC and M series units that were rejected by the Pioneer Repair centres or other repair shops.

What's the difference between a Repair and a Restoration Service? In a repair, only the defective component(s) are replaced (often in a single audio channel ONLY). In our restoration service, we will replace ALL defective and varied / aged components (for BOTH channels) with new, matched and audio grade components. Therefore our Restoration is a significantly better option VS a repair. In this Ebay listing we are providing a comprehensive component restoration service AND and a repair. Here are some restored units singing:

We are professional Electronics Engineers who perform surgery on these units as a weekend hobby. The turnaround time is typically 3 - 8 weeks. The work we do is of extremely high quality and detail (repair shops would be unable to match that). Altogether, we replace over 30 components in your Amplifier with audio grade components (not ordinary components). We use WBT or CARDAS 4% Silver solder for all our restoration work. Our aim is to make your unit last another 30+ years.

The listing price includes the cost of shipping the unit back to you within the 48 contiguous states.

On the subject of the C21/M22, I feel you have done me a real disservice by all the improvements made.  Now I am a true stereo addict. I spent 12 hours solid in my listening position yesterday. Everything from Miles (Kind of Blue), Stones, Joe Walsh, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Led Zeppelin and The Who. Absolutely Pristine. The phono section is fabulous. I am hearing bass I was not aware of before. The sound stage has opened like never before.  All thats left for me now is the Stereo Annonymous 12 step program. Thanks again for everything. Jim T (IL)

I was able to do some serious listening this evening on the restored E-202..  The mid range is extremely detailed and musical.  Highs are very smooth and detailed, and the bottom has a great deal of punch.  What is not to love.  I really think it is better at powering my maggies than the Class A HEXFET A-100 (Jim IL).

Just got everything put back together and have been enjoying the phono section for about two hours. Awesome improvement. Thank you for the excellent work. Un-freaking-believeable. Awesome improvement. Excellent communication. A+++ Rod (MN) Kenwood KA-9100.

I got the Pioneer M-22 setup late yesterday, and listened last evening.  I was expecting it to sound great, but was not prepared for how spectacular it actually did sound.  What an amazing amplifier, now that you have done the restoration work.  It exceeds all my expectations, and I will think of you every time I listen, and be grateful for the fine job you did. This M-22 is musical, easy to listen to, detailed, has great imaging, dead black background, and I can't get enough of my music through it.  Thank you for the outstanding work, and for putting the magic back in to this great old amp.
