As promised, I have now taken some more photos today, showings is condition.  So all photos after the gallaery one are as the cars stands today.  If you need more photos you can email me, have taken a lot of different angles but can only put 12 on here.

1964 Moskvich 403 4 Door Saloon (unless someone tells me different!)

Last owner before us was Warner Bros Productions, Pinewood Studios - have kept copy V5

It is still painted as it came from Pinewood, depicting a Police car.  Dark Blue and Cream Matt Paint - presumably no shine to reflect on cameras.

It has a 1500 engine and 4 speed cloumn change gearbox (complete with operational diagram stuck on dash - possibly put there it it's Pinewood days for inexperienced column change drivers)

The front wings are virtually rust free, the doors have slight rust, the rear doors lower edge is slightly coroded, the bonnet and front inner wings are virtually rust free, as is the boot lid.  As you can see there is surface rust in areas where paint has come off and inside compartments but basically this car has a sound basis for restoration, it seems to me there would be little welding to be done, it would look like the rear sills are not too good as shown on photo but generally does not appear rotten anywhere

Chrome works is complete but a bit rusty

Interior is complete but basic

Brakes are in poor condition and need overhauling

The car attracts comments that it looks like a mix of a baby chevy, ford pop, austin cambridge and hillman minx

There is an owners club in the UK and I am on a Moskvich owners forum, so I assume parts can be sought through either of them.  I have been in contact with them and am told it is very rare, even in Russia!

The car will need to be trailed away, not driven

No MOT and currently on sorn

Do not have hub caps or new steering wheel, do have a steering wheel off a slightly different car model which could maybe be made to fit properly
