Yamaha xs 650 with a Halco 840 engine conversion. Bad bits first, the valve spring retainer on the inlet valve has broken it broke when i last had it running, why i dont know you can just make it out in the picture. There is a small oil leak under the sump i have not checked where exactly. The rear tyre will need replacing for the mot.

Now the good bits, Omars tank and seat unit fitted, brand new 36mm Mikunis and Ram air filters brand new Boyer ignition two into two exhaust which sounds great when up and running, silver powder coated frame with a few small chips here and there powder coated calipers and rear springs, flat track handlebars, 19" rear wheel conversion for that extra clearence. Authentic 70s Redwing shock absorbers polished caliper carriers powder coated discs. Most of the alloy is polished and still shiny. The tyres are proper dirt track racing dunlops and offer excellent grip due to the softness of the rubber.I did once have all the paperwork on the engine mods carried out by Halco but alas they got lost when i moved house but i know it is in a high state of tune, i swapped the original long duration Halco cam for a standard item just to make it that bit easier to kick over the Halco cam is included in the sale.Back in 2005 or 2007 i cant remember which i entered the bike in the Anglesey motorbike show but unfortunatly my bike didnt come under any catergory so the judges created one especially and the called it "the bike the judges would most like to take home" for which i won a litre of Jack Daniels. In 2008 i entered the bike in the Three Shires show Market Drayton (Chopper club event) and went on to win best classic jap(trophy to prove).Bike is sorned with no mot. Not immaculate but very good condition viewing available.Lovely looking bike that draws attention.Any question please mail me and if bought £100 deposit to be paid into Paypal within 24hrs and the balance in cash on collection. Serious bidders only please.
