Shikakai is a Sanskrit word which literally means "fruit for hair". It has been traditionally used as a natural shampoo in India for centuries.

The fruit pods, leaves and bzark of Shikakai (Acacia Concinna) are dried, powdered to form a vital ingredient for hair oil or shampoos.
