You will recieve - One(1) Pair of Antique Vintage 1800s "Yale Silver" Hinges, Yale & Towne Mfg Neo-Grec 5"

This Pair of Antique Vintage 1800s "Yale Silver" Hinges, Yale & Towne Mfg Neo-Grec 5" are in Very Good Used condition with some marks, nicks, & scratches. The hinges weigh approximately 2 Lbs 2 Ounces each  and are 5" inches by 5" inches with ball finials standing 7/8" inch on the top and bottom making the hinges 6 3/4" inches tall at the hinge pin. The hinge plates are approximately 1/4" inch thick at the hinge tapering thinner to the edge. The hinge was made by the Yale & Town Mfg Co., Stamford, Ct. in the late 1800s. This hinge has a repeating neo-grec (new greco-roman) key design. These hinges were removed from a 100+ year old church building on the north side of Chicago, Illinois that was renovated. They were heavily caked with paint that completely obscured the details. They were cleaned with a heat gun not chemicals as the chemicals could cause discoloration. Although the nicks and scratches look bad, they are not and the hinges look really nice.
