Dash 8-100 Series
During
the 1970's there was a requirement in the airline industry to fulfil the need
for a similar type transport (to the DHC-7), that would offer better economics
and quicker speed. The Dash 8-100 first flew on 20 June 1983 and entered
service with Canada's NorOntair on 19 December 1984, followed by the United
States carrier, Piedmont (Henson).
This
model has an approximate wingspan of 6.5cm and is approximately 5.5cm
