Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a seller will post all but the most flattering of photographs. We prefer to expose the complete roll of film taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an exceptional and desirable original California family owned 1963 Buick Skylark 2 Door Hardtop Coupe with it's original 215CID/200HP 'JN' Code V8 engine with 89K original miles in great daily driving condition with its original owners handbook showing an original sales date of 7/3/1963 at 'Butlin Buick' of Reseda, California with original dealers license frames and original California 'Black License Plates' complete with rare factory options of power steering ($86), AM radio ($66), air conditioning ($351) and heater!

The car looks extremely impressive with a striking repaint in it's original color of 'Arctic White' on the roof, but now with a date correct 'Glacier Blue' contrasting two-tone color scheme. Please note that there are two noticeable imperfections; a small dent on the rear bumper and a maybe 4" long crack on the passenger side of the windshield (see photos below). The original bucket seats cloth and vinyl Blue interior has been beautifully reupholstered and the interior is in exceptional and otherwise virtually completely original condition throughout!

The original 215 c.i. 4 barrel 200HP V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent with only 89K original miles and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears, it has four good tires and the car has it's original spare wheel and jack still in the trunk!
