Topcon TS-E1 is the result of ma

Topcon TS-E1 is the result of many years of experience in the area of highly developed instrument design and construction. The TS-E1 is the product of extensive experience in the field of advanced technology and sophisticated instrument making. The First-Order Precision Level was developed after extended and thorough research into every aspect of use under all conceivable working conditions. The level is subject to strict quality control procedures to ensure high accuracy and ease of use. The successful combination of the sighting mechanism with a sensitivity of 10"/2 mm, the coincidence level, and the optical parallel plate micrometer with a direct readout of 0.2 mm guarantee precise leveling and highly accurate measurements. The tilting screw used to level the collimation line is engraved with graduations that accurately specify inclination and index lines indicating the number of turns of the tilting screw. The tilting screw is divided into 50 equal divisions with each division being equal to 2" of inclination. The coincidence level features a high-tech optical design. The bubble image is magnified to twice its normal size, which results in an especially sharp and high-contrast image that is easy to see and facilitates the coincidence setting. The mark appearing on the bubble image quickly indicates the direction in which the tilting screw must be turned to achieve coincidence. The TS-E1 is equipped with an optical parallel plate micrometer. The setting knob is turned until the graduation line on the leveling staff bisects the wedge-shaped reticule lines of the TS-E1 telescope. The change is numerically displayed in the optical micrometer window and this reading is added to the staff reading resulting in a direct readout accuracy of 0.01 mm. The high-resolution telescope provides a sharp image of the target. It is fitted with a wedge-shaped reticule to read staff graduations more accurately. The distance to the staff can be obtained easily using the reticule line marking. The collimation line is very easy to adjust. It is not necessary to adjust screws on the tubular level. Instead, simply turn the optical wedge until the collimation line is horizontal for precise results.
