1950s Vintage Jaeger LeCoultre Ladies Manuel Wind Watch

Founded in 1883, Jaeger LeCoultre is a well regarded luxury watch brand. Up until the 1950s, LeCoultre was one of the prestigious brands of watches sold by the fine leather goods store Hermes. This drivers model was one that Hermes carried, and you can see it's influence in the modern Cape Cod model.

Movement: High grade 17 jewel Swiss Movement calibre 840 is a manual wind movement signed Jaeger LeCoultre. It has been newly serviced by a master watchmaker. It runs and keeps time in good order.

Dial condition and detail: Excellent silvered dial has raised and inset gold markers. Slim stick hands in yellow compliment the look perfectly.

Case condition and detail: 18K yellow case in very good vintage condition. Case features an extended lug design that resembles a link frame with the crown in the 6'oclock position, a detail that Lecoultre was known for. 

Crystal/Glass condition: Plastic crystal in excellent condition. 

Strap condition and detail: New pale blue-jean blue leather strap made by the French brand ZRC in new, unworn condition.

Size of watch:about 15mm x 23mm not including the lugs or crown.
Strap width:12mm
Will fit wrist size: 6 1/4" - 7 1/4" in circumference.

General comments: An elegant vintage ladies watch and a great collectors piece. Ready to wear.
