You are viewing a one of a kind GENUINE kerosene lantern that has been converted to utilize 110v standard power. These are perfect for haunted houses, general Halloween prop use, movie set use, Old Western sets, etc. All lanterns have glass globes and are metal.
This particular lantern is a C.T. Ham made in Rochester, NY, USA. It measures at a height of 15" (from base to top - not including handle) and a 6.5" wide base. The glass globe is clear (dirt and soot present) and has a nice creepy glow and reflects the light nicely! The outside is quite rusty and dirty but has no place where it's rusted through. The name is fairly tough to read but still there.
My lanterns contain a candelabra flicker bulb to give the illusion of a flame inside the glass globe. The power cord also has a manual on/off. Please NOTE: these lanterns are NOT modern kerosene lantern reproductions made to look old (which you will find on other prop sites). These are farm fresh authentic Dietz hurricane style lanterns. All of the wear, rust, dirt, soot, kerosene smell, andpatina is 100% authentic and came from decades of actual use. I find that the only way to get a true haunted Halloween feel is to use actual real kerosene lanterns. These cannot be bought in a store! Each one is 100% unique and once it's sold, there won't be another exactly like it! Each lantern comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Forbidden Props!
