Our STANDARD Single Sided 1.0 mm thick structural carbon fibre sheet is manufactured using multiple layers of genuine 100% carbon fibre infused with epoxy resin creating a high stiffness, high strength, light weight and aesthetically pleasing material.

The surface has a smooth gloss finish on one side with a textured (peel ply) surface for optimum bonding on the other side, where the gloss side is covered in a removable protective film that will help prevent marking/scratching and maintain the glossy surface finish when you’re cutting and finishing the sheet for your application.

This 1.0 mm+/-0.15 mm thick carbon fibre sheet is very stiff with just a little flexibility and won’t require additional backing support. It is not flexible enough to conform to curves and is best suited for flat structural panels.

This A4 carbon fibre sheet measures: 210x 297 mm +/-2.0 mm.

All of our structural carbon fibre sheets have been tested for mechanical strength and stiffness in accordance with British (BS EN ISO) and American (ASTM) standards.

Carbon fibre sheets can be cut with standard tools, ranging from scissors for our ultra-thin sheets, to abrasive cutting wheels and Dremel tools. Regular steel tools can cut carbon fibre sheets ‘just’ adequately, but due to the abrasive nature of all carbon fibre sheets, these standard tools will wear down fast with heavy cutting use. Therefore, we recommend carbide tools, abrasive type cutters, or diamond coated tools. Our carbon fibre sheets are easily edge sanded by hand or belt sanders allowing you to trim close and sand to final dimensions for a smooth and clean edge.
