It features a quick release sliding plate with a patented safety locking system to ensure that your camera does not accidentally fall off the head, even when the QR lever is released.The sliding plate features a standard 1/4"x20 threaded screw mount and rubber pads to ensure a positive grip on your camera, while preventing any scratching caused by slack in the mount. It includes two levels, one horizontal and the other vertical, so that it can be adjusted for exact leveling whether it is used horizontally, or tilted 90 degrees to one side.A single locking lever on the body locks both the ball joint and the panning base.
