This comes with the SMA Female connector to fit most Baofengs and many more radio types but you can request a different connector if needed right after auction just send me a message. All get hand tuned by me and S.W.R. reading is 1.5 or lower across the 2 meter and works well on 70cm band too. Works very well indoors by a window for example. For outside just suspend from anything non-conductive and start making contacts at a much longer distance!

The slim jim is a version of j-pole that radiates it's waves at a much lower take off angle than a traditional j-pole as you can see in the picture below and is why it works much better.
I use 5 feet of rg-174 coax to make it very light and compact. It only weighs in at about 1.6 ounces total. The loss of a 5 foot piece of rg-174 is very miniscule and well worth it vs bigger heavier coax for a portable antenna. I do not make much money on these antennas however the performance you will get out of it makes it worth much more than the price.
